We both shared: Chicken curry sandwich, Caesar salad with chicken skewers.

Good
Jeff says: The curry chicken was tasty, but then I really like most curried food. The sandwich came on a French roll that was nice and fresh.

Randy says: The bread that the curry chicken came on looked like a French roll, but it had the taste and consistency of a Scotch bop. Outside wasn't flaky like the French variety, and the inside was moist and chewy. The bread really made the sandwich. The curried chicken itself was nicely done and had good flavor.

Jeff says: The chicken skewers were hot and flavorful. Very nicely seasoned. The Caesar salad itself was very garlicky from the dressing.

Randy says: The dressing on the Caesar salad was a bit heavy with a little too much garlic, but overall tasty. The salad had bacon in it, which I didn't expect or want. The parts of the chicken closest to the skewers probably could have been cooked just a little more.

Stallet ("The Stable" — some of the buildings that comprise the museum were once a riding school and stables) is the restaurant inside Stockholm's Museum of Science and Technology. One would not go to this restaurant unless one was already at the Museum, but since there is a telephone museum inside, Jeff recommends this as the first stop for anyone visiting Stockholm. The Museum is huge and you can spend a lot of time there and work up quite an appetite, as we did.

We didn't expect museum food to be very good, but we were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very nice and explained all the items on the Swedish-only menu to us in English. There was a "sallad bord" (salad bar) which by American standards was pathetic. It was a small table with 4 bowls of pickled beans and things of that nature. Our advice: plan to spend a lot of time at the Tekniska Museet and opt for the grilled items in the restaurant.
