Jeff had: Beef tournedo with truffle sauce, vanilla ice cream with warm cloudberries.

Jeff says: Randy's elk had no distinct flavor and so wasn't bad. The beef tournedo was a thick chunk of filet. It was good with the truffle sauce which was on the side. Randy's reindeer was good. It tasted like a flavorful steak.
Randy says: Jeff's truffle sauce and my soured green pepper sauce were very similar. Both were red wine-based and Jeff's had an extra flavor, presumably from the truffles. The mango and passion fruit ice cream turned out to be mango only. It was a bit too sweet. Jeff's vanilla ice cream was superb.
Jeff says: The vanilla ice cream was delightful! The cloudberries added an interesting contrast with their tartness. Randy's mango ice cream was also good.
Ronnums manor is out of the way in Vargön, near Göteborg, Sweden. If you buy a new Saab on the International and Diplomat Sales (IDS) program as Randy did, you get to go to Sweden and spend a night at this country inn with a dinner included from their award-winning restaurant, all complements of Saab, before going to the delivery center and picking up your new car.
We were seated in a small section with only our table and one other. A female couple sitting next to us were speaking in what we think was Dutch (definitely not Swedish), and must have been guests of Saab as well because when their bill came they said something to the waitress (in Swedish) about Saab and they were off. The night we were there the restaurant seemed understaffed. We and others were essentially ignored for a very long time due to a large private party. The formally-dressed, older, second couple to sit next to us was grumbling and then complaining to the waitress who apologized, or so it seemed from their tone (they spoke in Swedish). Our own dinner lasted 2 hours. But we had nowhere else to go, and no way to get there.
