The blue arrow in the first image shows the position and direction of the "camera".
In the after shot you can see our trees. The two outer ones are Cupaniopsis anacardioides (Carrotwood), and the inner one is a Podocarpus gracilior. These are evergreen trees and will not change much throughout the year. What is not depicted here is that just behind the fence is another house with second story windows facing our yard, from which these trees will provide some privacy. The pampas grass on the right of the picture is really green, not brown as shown. A trellis with blooming jasmine heightens the low fence.
